This is a made-to-order item and takes up to two weeks to make and prepare, plus delivery time. Every item is cut and sewn individually and all the poppers are inserted by hand in our London studio.

4.1. UK - recorded delivery: Monday to Friday only. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery after your garment is made. Lemuel MC will acknowledge on receipt of order if there is any change to the delivery period.
4.2. Overseas - recorded delivery: conditions as above except please allow 7-10 working days for delivery.
4.3. Product unavailability will be acknowledged as soon as possible and money refunded.
4.4. Lemuel MC is not responsible for any lost order by a third party once the goods have left Lemuel MC registered premises. If the received goods are damaged, a refund or exchange will be accepted only if the goods are returned within 14 working days from the signed receipt of the goods, with the original packaging to our registered office.
4.5. Packaging - every item is gift wrapped and packed using recycled wallpaper.
Returned goods and cancelled orders
5.1. Lemuel MC will only accept returned goods if the customer complies with clause 5.
5.2. If the goods are defective or ordered incorrectly, the customer will receive a full refund, credit note or exchange. The goods must be returned to us before a full refund, credit note or exchange can be issued.
5.3. Lemuel MC cannot be held responsible for goods sent by a customer which are lost in transit.
5.4. If an order is cancelled after it has been dispatched, the return procedure outlined in clause 6 will apply. If the procedure is not adhered to, the order will be deemed valid and the customer liable for full payment.
5.5. All returned goods must be returned in the original packaging to ensure goods are not damaged in transit.
The customer shall inspect the goods and notify Lemuel MC within 14 working days from receipt of goods if there is a reason for rejection. If notification is not received within 14 working days, Lemuel MC will assume the goods are satisfactory and any rejection will not be acceptable beyond this period. This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
FREE lifetime repairs
Our clothes are designed and made to last but they’re not indestructible.
If they’re looked after there is no reason why they shouldn’t stay beautiful, and even softer, for years and years.
Clothes and accessories are meant to be worn, of course, and normal wear-and-tear does happen.
With this in mind, and as part of our commitment to sustainability, we will repair damage caused by normal wear-and-tear for FREE – all you pay is postage to us and back.
- Loose seams.
- Loose hems.
- Loose poppers.
- Broken poppers i.e. they don’t fix.
- Unstitched pockets.
It does not include:
- Damage beyond everyday wear-and-tear e.g. stains, cuts, burns.
- Damage caused by not following washing instructions.
- Most rips of the fabric itself (not the seams) – linen is tough so we’d be surprised to hear if it ripped, but please get in touch to ask if this happens.
We retain the right to refund the customer if stock levels change (or become out of stock) after purchase, and/or shipping/delivery fees (charges) change after purchase and/or other system errors occur after purchase.
