We call this, wearing your heart on your sleeve - after all, we're more than just a pretty face and fashion should showcase your values too. 10% of our profits go back to a charity that works with that issue, in this case SeedsShare, a London-based non-profit working to provide organic and in-season seeds to farmers and home growers around the globe.
Sizing: To avoid excess manufacturing and wastage we offer our garments in two sizes, XS/S (6, 8, 10) and M/L (12, 14, 16). The way the garments have been designed utilises the width of the fabric as well as fitting perfectly to the body, working with the flowing nature of the fabric. This allows the garments to be more versatile and adapt to your lifestyle. This way if you gain or lose a bit of weight, it will still fit and look good on you, after all we are not mannequins! Gung Ho is a London-based ethical and sustainable fashion brand, founded by Sophie Dunster. With all collections made out of sustainable fabrics, in small batches, locally in London. Gung Ho directly supports small talented businesses (especially during this time), and gives back to charities that work with the issues Gung Ho design around.
Famous for using social impact (conscious) collections, the newest Climate Change collection highlights three topics, the Climate, Endangered Species and the Everyday Actions you can take to make a difference. In Sophie's own words -
"Every year we pick an issue that needs attention. This year it's the mother of all issues, Climate Change. Each design has a hidden message within the print to spark up a conversation about the topic in hand."
The Early Days
With a dad who is a zero carbon architect, sustainability has been fairly drummed into Sophie from an early age. But without being able to follow in his more scientific, mathematical footsteps, Sophie followed her strength – drawing – to help convey these issues. Starting out, she wanted to become a political artist but after discovering a world of silk screen printing when studying in Brighton, she realised her drawings could become a walking ‘talking point’. This way, it wasn’t a piece of artwork hanging on a wall for a limited amount of people to see, it became someone’s first impression of you - and fashion shouldn’t just make you look good, but showcase your values too.
And that’s when the idea for Gung Ho was born.

We aim to deliver UK orders within 3-5 working days, if not sooner. Weekends and UK Bank Holidays are not considered working days but we will do our very best to get our products to you asap. Due to the special nature of our products, increases in seasonal demand and factors beyond our control, there maybe occasional times when longer delivery times occur. We will endeavour to inform you of any such situation to avoid disappointment.

If you or someone on your behalf is not able to sign for the delivery, the carrier will leave a card to arrange a re-delivery at a suitable time. Cards can only be left where there is access to secure post boxes, therefore some shared accommodation and apartment buildings will not receive delivery cards as a matter of security but unfortunately this is out of our control.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund; however we will try to contact you in this case to arrange for a new order to be placed if required.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase and wish to return it for a refund, please notify us with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return within 14 days of receipt at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our return policy allows a full refund minus the postage, provided goods are in original condition and accompanied by an email order confirmation or online despatch note. Goods without an email order confirmation or online despatch note cannot be returned.
Refunds will be issued upon return of the product.

Our studio is on a pier in Battersea but unfortunately with all the construction work in the area the post has been a bit dodgy recently, please email email@example.com to confirm a return postage address.

Returns to our Studio
Online purchases can be returned to our studio in Battersea. Returns will be processed on the day and funds issued to the card used for original payment; please note it may take up to 10 days for the credit to appear in your account. Our address is Nine Elms Pier, Tideway Walk, Kirtling Street, Vauxhall, London, SW8 5PZ. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange an appointment.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
In the rare event that goods are delivered faulty or damaged please email email@example.com so we can arrange a replacement or a refund. If the package you receive is damaged or open please do not accept the delivery and contact us immediately to arrange a replacement.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase and wish to exchange it for another item, please notify us with your order number and the item(s) you wish to exchange within 14 days of receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org
Our exchanges policy allows a full exchange up to the purchased price provided goods are in original condition and accompanied by an email order confirmation or online despatch note. Goods without an email order confirmation or online despatch note cannot be exchanged.
